Very humorous book

This book makes you laugh while helping you pull your one-householder life together. It shows the 20% pits and 80% joys of living by oneself [while waiting for a great relationship to come along]. Extremely informative reading.

Essential reading for the Secure Sophisticate

This sophisticated author knows how to write! She also has done her research! I appreciated being bade to move away from that kitchen sink & go sit down with the peanut butter jar (my version of one of her more elegantly put admonitions.) I felt a glow of recognition as she recounted the benefits of being boss of your own domain. I hope she will take an author's tour & visit her faithful readers on the West Coast soon. Go, Edan!

A fun look at a serious subject

This book provided so many good ideas and in such an upbeat manner. I had some good laughs and it was fun to read. It should give confidence to those who, by circumstances or choice, are now having to live alone. It gives them ideas for a new lifestyle plus the encouragement and support to be successful at it. I think that even a reader who doesn't live alone could benefit; for example, "don't eat over the sink."
