What would this book be like as a movie

I first read these books in the early 1990s, plus in 2002/03. As well as just finished them for the third time. Outstanding page turning novels in my opinion. Being an amature historian and Revolutionary War reenactor I look for books of this type. With many plots, twists and turns through out the six books of this series it kept me looking for more. It was a very easy read, but also a mix of history and story telling I found very entertaining. Now, would this series of books make for a great movie / movies? In my opinion. NO. Hollywood would put to much of the political slant on yet another book/books. That is too bad, as it would make for a wonderfully entertaining movie if it held fast to the books. Adam Rutledge as well as Dana Fuller Ross (Wagons West Frontier Trilogy Series) show a great story telling skill. I would very much like to find more books of these types to add to my collection of early American History (Factual & Novels). Any other books of this type (Revolutionary & Civil War) please let me know.

The first book in an exciting historiacal-romance series.

This book is the first in a series about a band of spies for the patriots in the Revolution, sort of a Days of our Lives meets George Washington. The writing is brisk and the plot interesting enough to keep you waiting to start the next book. A great read for a summer vacation or a snowy day. I have read the series twice already.
