Elmer's book is a creative and enjoyable trip along the road to "everybody's grandfather" land. The family stories and the fun, quality, poems made my reading of this book fun. Many of the poems have a fun or surprising ending. A wizened look at life, religion, and relationships this book makes one appreciate the kindness felt in his words. He must be a gentle man, full of love and devotion to those who have ridden down the trail with him. More grandfathers should do the same for their families. Rick Pinner
