A great chemistry supliment

This is NOT a full-blown chemistry book - don't get this book if you really need a chem text! However - if you are in a chemistry class and you need to succeed - this book addresses the area that most students AND teachers of chemistry are weakest in -- Problem solving! I have used Smoot's "Solving Problems in Chemistry" for almost 25 years in my chem program. For the depth and breadth of problems, many examples and worked out sample problems, there is nothing else like it! A Workbook more than a Textbook

This book is an excellent chemistry review book almost. It lacks pictures and in depth detail but for an overview of chemistry it can't really be beat. Also, a great feature is the many problems... all with answers at the back so you can check your work. It's a nice feature. If you're looking for a book to supplement your chemistry class then this is the one.
