Recommended for my students

I teach chemistry 1 and chemistry 2 at a New York City university, and I urge my students to buy both the solutions to red and the solutions to black exercises. Even if you are able to obtain correct answers without help, the solutions guide may provide alternate pathways that will enhance your understanding of the material.

Chemistry Solutions manual

Pretty helpful to have for the course. It tends to leave out answers to the simplest questions from the beginning of the problems in each chapter but otherwise is good. For me, I could use a little more step by step answers for some of the solutions but it may may be just fine for others. Overall, I would recommend having this manual for the course.

Caution..This is 8th edition!!!!!

I'm using Chemistry :The Central Science 9th edition Textbook. This answer book is 8th edition..The problems are not the same, therefore the solutions do not match up.Otherwise, if I was using the 8th edition textbook, this book is definitely helpful.
