short intro to making patterns

I checked this book out from my library and was delighted to find it had a chapter on turning a sketch into a pattern. I already knew how to do this but I can now point others to this book to learn. Most of the book looks really rather dated, and some of it I totally don't get, but the chapter on patterns is why I give it a high rating.

A wounderful inspration

I found this book to be very motivational and packed full of ideas. Although there are no patterns in this book it gave me great ideas for making my own or altering the ones that I currently work with. There are good ideas on emblishment of your soft scuptures and how to transform the every day stuffed toy in to a work of art for display.
