brings me back to my childhood

this book i first read in 1976 and fell in love with backpacking and the outdoor. it has led me on a lifetime of adventure. i bought it because i stumbled across it. the ilistrations are very good. the basics of backpacking are still there it will take you back to a time before RV's from (the land down under) to the basics of why we go into the wilderness. the products are dated but the ideas still pertain to today. this book for me is a ticket to a third graders dreams. i hope you enjoy it....
