Cover was torn off at the spine partway from the bottom. It'll have to be tapped up because I definitely need this for my class. Pretty ratty looking for a "good." I usually order like new or very good so maybe my standards are just too high.

Excellent resource

This book was beneficial in helping me studing for the NIC written test. I am very pleased with the book and the short time it took to arrive.

Good

I had to get this book for my Intro to Interpreting class, and based on what I have read so far, it goes into the different type of people and personalities you will have to interpret for as well as how to deal with it.

A must have for any interpreter (or interpreter to be)!

This book provides TONS of information about interpreting. The examples are a great way to really get into the mind set of all parties involved in an interpreting situation. While the book is pricey it is worth it. This is a reference text that you will use for years.

This book offers valuable information for anyone wishing to become a professional sign language interpreter. It include real-life tips on how to interpret in different situations (education, medical, theatrical). I still refer to my copy after 5 or so years of interpreting.
