Enjoyable!

This book sat around in my house for about two years before I finally decided to give it a try. I just seemed to find other books to read and I never got back to this one until recently. Well, I must say that I'm very happy to have read this book. I expected a typical story of three women with LOTS and LOTS of drama but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the book was not full of drama and it was realistic from the beginning until the end. It was refreshing, for me, to read a book about three black women that didn't feel like another Waiting To Exhale clone. I found all three characters to be both realistic as well as fun to read and Venise Berry's writing style pulled me in and never let me go.

Please do not do as I did and keep this story in your TBR pile for over a year ! I had no idea what I was missing ! Please don't miss out on So Good for it is So-o-o Goood !!!!

Great job, Professor!

I had the pleasure of being in three of Venise Berry's Journalism classes at the University of Iowa, so I was thrilled when I saw her book sitting on the shelf of my local bookstore! Not only is she a wonderful teacher, she is a gifted novelist as well. I can't wait to read your next book, Venise!

Excellent book

This book was uplifting, funny and realistic. I enjoyed it very much. Some of the points in this book reminded me of stories my girlfriends and I share about our relationships. I can identify.

Problems, Problems, Problems

While reading this book I kept saying to myself "What's next". And once again, a book that does not look at Africian-American men in a postive view. But I must say, it did speak of reality.
