This is a very entertaining gothic/regency Romance. Complete with an innocent orphan,Deborah. Mysterious guardian/uncle and two handsome male cousins. Handsome ,yes. Trustworthy, maybe not. Don't forget the menacing Mullion Hall, the wild English coast and the evils of smuggling. The hero is properly brooding, the villians dasterly and duplicitous, the heroine confused but intrepid. Lot's of action and romance. Originally published in paperback in 1966. Most enjoyable.
