Great intro to camping for little kids

This was a staple on my bed stand when I was little. Look wise a little dated now, but the info inside is still good. Smokey show two kids the ins and outs of camping and camplore. What you need how to store food How to dress Swimming safety Different types of camping Tents How to follow hiking trails Trail safety Dangerous plants and animals Weather signs How to build a fire pit and fire safety Cooking Improvised camping What to do outside in a storm I've read my old copy to all of my kids at one time or another A good primer that gets kids pumped to go camping. Everything in print right now, is a little too long and a little too technical for 6 year olds to either get or enjoy.
