Cute rules!

I can never resist photographs of kittens, and this tiny volume is full of them--along with gems of wit and wisdom from feline "composers, world leaders, philosophers, authors, actors, playwrights, and musicians" who "over the years have somehow had their words misattributed or...outright stolen" by humanity, as well as from a few "humans cool enough to be considered honorary cats." Among the felines are Abracat Lincoln, Vince Lompawdi, Meow West, Irving Purrlin, Humphrey Bocat, Neil Pawstrong, and William Shakespaw, while the humans include Joseph Wood Krutch, Lilian Jackson Braun, Charlie Chaplin, Clint Eastwood, and Will Rogers. All their aphorisms will give you a chuckle, or perhaps make you nod in agreement, and while some of the "kittens" used to illustrate them look more like half-grown (or even full-grown) cats to me, all of them are attractive. This would be a perfect stocking-stuffer for the aileurophile in your life.
