AMAZING AUTHOR

This book is part of a series, I can't wait for the other books to come out. Ms. Shalvis' expertise in dialogue is unsurpassed. I love all her characters! I highly recommend this book - also her blog is great!

Jill does it again!!!

Smart and Sexy is HOT! Noah and Bailey find passion in the skies. These two characters are a great love match and the secondary characters will keep you wanting more. I can't wait for their stories to unfold in the next of the series. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book today. A great read!

Noah Fisher is finally taking a vacation and getting back in the pilots seat after a horrific crash six months ago. Little does he know that his uncomplicated plan to ski and find some female companionship is about to be ruined, by Bailey. At first not knowing who his hijacker is, Noah is angry.But, after discovering its Bailey, his secret crush, he is more intrigued than worried, and more than willing to help her in her desperate search. As they search for the hidden money, they each must fight their own private battles with trust and open their hearts to a chance at happiness. Jill Shalvis has written her best book to date. The emotions are heartfelt and the danger believable and breath taking. You find yourself rooting for the couple from the first few pages and hoping that they find happiness together, and that the `bad guys' end up getting their due. The secondary characters introduced are likeable and set the stage for more books in this line. I, for one, can't wait.

Six months after piloting a plane that crashed in Cabo with horrific results, Noah Fisher decides to head to Mammoth Mountain for a little R and R. He figures some skiing and a ski bunny will go far in helping him relax. When Noah finds himself hijacked at gunpoint while enroute to Mammoth Mountain, it makes him just plain mad. Once he discovers that his hijacker is Bailey Sinclair, a young widow who has been the object of many of his wildest fantasies, he is still angry, but his anger is redirected toward whoever has terrified Bailey enough to push her to take such drastic measures. When Noah learns that Bailey's husband, Alan, wasn't killed in a hunting accident, but was murdered, he realizes how imperative it is that she find the money he had hidden in avoidance of becoming a victim herself. With Alan's killers hot on their heels, the two make jaunt after desperate jaunt in search of the concealed cash. When it looks like they will have to travel to Cabo, the place where Noah crashed, he questions whether he has healed enough emotionally to take them there. Bailey Sinclair wants to kill her husband. Unfortunately, someone has already killed him, after he swindled them out of a ton of money. Bailey gave up a successful modeling career after marrying Alan so she could be by his side. Unfortunately, he was more interested in himself and how much money he could make than being with her. Alan left Bailey with a cryptic clue about where the money is hidden just before he was murdered. She has little choice but to force someone to take her to Alan's resort in order to find the money. She decides on Noah Fisher, one of the three pilots at Sky High Air, because she knew he was the most likely of the three to help her. Bailey has had a bit of a crush on Noah for some time, but has to get past that for the time being, and focus on finding the money that will save her life. After the initial flight, yes, the one where she kidnapped him at gunpoint, Bailey has no intention of involving Noah in her search. Besides, the "gun" was actually a pen, so no harm done, right? Noah doesn't feel that way, and insists that he accompany her so he can keep her safe, and while Bailey dislikes involving him in her personal problems, she appreciates having him with her. Bailey and Noah are both extremely likable characters, and the secondary characters from Sky High Air are equally charming and are practically screaming for their own books. Thankfully, Jill Shalvis will be giving her readers those stories. Noah and Bailey are quick to act on their shared attraction, but it doesn't feel rushed as their long-time interest in each other is covered. This book has fast-paced action, intriguing suspense, and sizzling sensuality. I personally feel that Jill Shalvis' writing gets sharper with each new book, and I highly recommend SMART AND SEXY to anyone who enjoys a romantic suspense that isn't too heavy or frightening.

Smart and Sexy by Jill Shalvis is all that and more. It's a sexy, funny and moving story that will keep you entertained. Noah Fisher is finally back in the air after a tragic plane crash months ago. He is on his way to some much-needed R & R, when suddenly a gun is poking him in the back. He can't believe he is being highjacked. Imagine his shock when it's his crush Bailey Sinclair. Bailey Sinclair is one desperate woman. When her no good husband gets himself killed a few months ago, he left her world in shambles. The money, everything is gone. Try telling that to his "investors." When these goons threaten the children she teaches, Bailey will do anything even highjack a plane to find the missing money. She trusts Noah and after a bumpy start slowly tells him the truth. Trying to stay one step ahead of the bad guys keeps these two on their toes. As the danger increases so does the all out chemistry between Bailey and Noah. They both have some deep trust issues from the past but what they have found is a once in a lifetime romance. Smart and Sexy is a pleasure from page one. The characters feel like someone you would like to get to know. They are funny, sad, and all out hot. The romance between these two is top notch and burns up every page they are on. I couldn't put this book down once I started it. I can't wait for the other partners in Sky High Air to get their stories.
