A Small Gem

I think this is a great novel, first middle or last. This guy is going to be a serious novelist. Truth be known, I know Kevin, but I met him after i read Sleeping Dogs, and in fact looked him up to tell him how much I enjoyed it. A previous reviewer pretty well covered it: guy goes South, meets some people. Kind of how I felt about Moby Dick. Guy goes after whale. Harpoons it. It's called Literary Fiction. If you hate it, you hate it. But I liked it. A lot.

I loved it

It's short, fun and easy to read. The writer really puts us right alongside the characters. It brought me back to the carefree days of long ago.
