Who cares if this is derivative of Star Wars when it is actually better!

It's almost impossible to talk about this book without mentioning how similar it is to Star Wars. But in my opinion being 'original' is highly overrated. What really matters to me is if a story is well done or not. And this story is extremely well done in almost every possible way! It's well written, with complex characters. And just a whole lot of fun to read!
