About new Author

We have Nick Pollatta to thank for this newest adventure. Nick is a niche writer and has worked on a number of popular series. For fans of the Stony Man series: he will be writing more. He was originally scheduled to simply do "Deep Rampage" which comes out in December 2002. After such strong support for "Sky Killers", he has been signed up to a Mack Bolan novel in 2003 and another Stony Man in 2004 ("Jamming Field"). Somewhere along the way, he has promised his fans of the "BUREAU 13" series that a new novel, and a collection of short stories will be forthcoming.

Outstanding!

Finally, a Stony Man that's real edge-of-your-seat stuff. The plot is totally original and frighteningly possible. All of the regular characters are spot on, and I love the new addition of Madison DeForrest. Its about damn time The Farm got a female soldier. More of her please! I'm not sure if this is the best Stony Man ever, but its certainly one of the best, and that's saying something. Well done!

The best Stony Man ever!

This book is absolutely kick-ass. Whoever the author is I hope he, or she, writes a hell of a lot more! (that Don Pedleton thing is just to hold the series together, different folks write different books) If you have never read a Stony Man novel before, this is the bad boy to start with. First class all the way!

Edge of your seat action

Stony Man's teams are sent to deal with the kind of mission only they can handle - finding and neutralizing the source of what's crippling the world's satellites. It's a breathtaking, non-stop action ride as Able Team, Phoenix Force, and the cybernetic team must deal with an enemy who's as good as they are, and without the help of Mack Bolan.Although the Stony Man series is fiction-by-the-numbers, this particular book stands out because the plot is well formulated, and the book doesn't drag in the middle or in the parts where non-standard characters are featured, as sometimes happens. The action is plausible, and the setup believable. I *really* rooted for the good guys on this one, and didn't want to skip to the end to find out what happened. Having read nearly every book in this series, I'm really thrilled when I read one that makes me remember why I keep buying the books.
