Loved It!

Thanks to Gwyneth Bolton, I now have a thing for firemen. This book was awesome. I loved that Patrick realized from the very beginning that Aisha was different from the other women that he'd had flings with in the past. He was very patient with her and an excellent father figue to her son. I am also glad that Aisha realized that Patrick was nothing like her ex-husband and decided to give him a chance. It was great to catch up with the other brothers and their wives and especially Ms. Carla. I really hate to see this series end because they were all well written stories and there is nothing like a man in uniform.

I love love love this entire series. I thought Aisha was believable in that she had real fears about starting a relationship with somebody new not to mention bringing someone around her young son. I thought Patrick was a sexy hero. He was always there when she needed him and was patient with her. Aunt Sophie got exactly what she deserved and I don't think I could have waited almost 40 years to tell her off...Celia was a Saint lol. In the end I really didn't completely understand the hostility Sophie had for Celia...I kind of had an idea but it can't be what I'm thinking it is...If anybody can explain that part to me, u can post a comment to this review b/c I don't want to spoil it for everyone else...Can't wait for Terrell and Maritza!!!!!

You know when a author introduce to a new series I am sure they are sitting on pins & needle waiting to see if reader when enjoy their hard work, well Gwyneth Bolton didn't have anything to worried about from the first time she pen book 1 "Protect and Serve (Jason Hightower)" the VERY first book in the series and reader was not disappointed, then she follow with book 2 "Make It Hot" (Joel Hightower)" then book 3 "The Law of Desire (Lawrence Hightower) and the final book Sizzling Seduction (Patrick Hightower)". Fireman Patrick Hightower was a man who has decided that he would not lose his heart to another woman. Patrick who marriage had ended badly and left a bad taste in his mouth until he met the kindergartner teacher Aisha Miller. For Patrick it was instance attraction but like Patrick, Aisha has her reason for being along and not wanting a relationship, but Patrick was not having that. Like all Hightower men once they find the one woman who has stole there heart and there mind is made up the woman might as well give it up. Patrick had a little help from his sisters-in-law. Also once again Sophie is at it again but this time Celia put a stop to it up front. I can say that in one of the scene Sophie finally gets what coming to her from Ceila. I don't want to give anything away but you all are going to be so surprise when you find out why Sophie said she hated Celia all of this time. When Gwen a twist it is a twist. Aisha Miller is a Kindergarten teacher, single mother raising her son. Aisha also was in a bad marriage for years and when she finally decided to leave her husband it wasn't easy. Her father who is attorney representative her ex in the divorce settlement. Since the divorce Aisha had pretty much kept to herself not very many friends only one teacher at the school she teaches at. Aisha kindergarten class went on a field trip the fire station where she first met Captain Patrick Hightower, although there first meeting did not go as Patrick wanted he was a determined man to get to know Aisha. What Aisha found out about Patrick is that he never quit when he want something and for Patrick that was to befriend Aisha and hope that in time they would become more. Patrick is CALM, COOL, and PATIENT AND LOVING. He is the type of man you would want in your corner, as Aisha slowly start to fall in love with Patrick she saw those entire thing in him. When I say that once Patrick & Aisha was together nothing could keep them apart not even evil Sophie. When I say there love was SIZZLING it was. If you have the entire book then you know what I am talking about, but if you don't have the series then purchase then you will fall in love with these Fireman & Policeman. (Jason & Lawrence are Policeman and Joel & Patrick is Fireman) so you can't go wrong if you love men in a uniform........................ Smooches Louise

Sizzling Seduction

Wow this book was the bomb! It is finally revealed why Aunt Sophie really hates that Celia (her sister-in-law) is married to her brother James. It is more than the fact that she felt like Celia used her to get to her brother. This will shock you! Of course the evil heifer is up to her old tricks as far as her nephews are concerned and this time her target is Patrick the firefighter. She tries to get him to get back with his trifling and cheating ex-wife even after she finds out he is seeing someone else that 'she' considers not good enough for him. Patrick Hightower never thought he would fall in love again and have the family he always wanted because he caught his wife in bed with another man. Aisha Miller is a kindergarten teacher who brings her class for a tour of his fire station. He takes one look at her and knew that she was the one. She fights her feelings for him because of her abusive ex-husband and controlling father. She just wants to make a life and home for her son Dillon and has no plans to date again. After meeting her son, he and Dillon hit it off immediately because he treats him so nice and does things with him that his dad has never had time for. His Dad Bill decides that since Aisha won't come back to him that he will start using his visitation rights and come get Dillon on the weekends knowing that will get back at her and maybe change her mind about them getting back together. When that doesn't work he gets abusive not once but twice but Patrick shows up just in time to protect her and Dillon. Patrick tells her that he loves her and wants her to be his wife and she finally admits that she loves him and agrees. You will love what happens before the family Thanksgiving holiday dinner and during the dinner too. Aunt Sophie finally gets what she deserves and you will love it! I read that part 3 times because I loved that part of the story so much. Way to go Gwyneth! I hated for this story to end!

Healing Powers of Love...

I HATE that this is the final installment to Hightower Honors series...but it's quite an ENTERTAINING and HEARTWARMING conclusion...and OH, BOY do I love me some Patrick...he IS THE MAN...in or out of his fireman's uniform...he's DEFINITELY got it going on...and he patiently works his "magic" on Aisha and her son Dillon...they made the PERFECT blended family...I was so glad to see Celia FINALLY give dear ol' Aunt Sopie what she REALLY deserves...once again the full cast of characters are LIVELY and UNFORGETTABLE...I can't wait to read Terrell and Maritza's story...talk about some DRAMA...this series is a MUST read...you will NOT be disappointed!
