Chloe is preparing dinner when her husband Nick comes home from work, greeting her with a kiss on the cheek before placing his briefcase on the island and sprinting upstairs for a quick shower before dinner. Chloe hears a vibration coming from inside the briefcase, thinking it may be urgent; she opens the case grasping Nick's phone, she reads the new text from a woman named Luna. Chloe's hands begin to shake and tears well up in her eyes. Chloe blinks the tears away and starts investigating the contents of his phone, finding he's been dating online for the past year and a woman named Luna is his favorite six month flavor.

As she reads further, Chloe discovers the audacity of her husband and how he'd set up an interview with Luna for a live-in housekeeper position with him and his unsuspecting wife. Chloe becomes enraged as the pieces fall together within her mind - consumed with rage by his infidelity Chloe confronts Nick with her newfound knowledge when he returns for dinner; she cannot control her furious anger at his blatant denial; Chloe lashes out at Nick with Luna's name on her tongue.
Suddenly her rage overtakes her. Grasping a knife from the block, Chloe violently attacks the man she has loved for years, leaving him lying on the kitchen floor, gasping in a pool of his blood. Chloe turns to rinse the blood from the knife watching as the water washes down the drain; she tosses the knife into the sink, hearing the clank against the ceramic Chloe turns and steps over Nick's body already plotting for her new garden spot.
