Author Bob Bernotas does a fabulous job on only one of the many Native American biographies he has written, Sitting Bull Chief of the Sioux. From a reader's point of view, it is a fun filled biography. This was crucial to me because I was definitely hoping for it not to be a boring and just average book. Nevertheless, there was very interesting information on the history of one of the greatest chiefs of all time. From a writer's point of view, it was a very different book. I thought the organization of the book was confusing. The very first chapter of the book started off with Sitting Bull's inauguration. But, the next chapter started with Sitting Bull's birth. This was confusing to me. Overall, I would give the book an 8 on a 10 point scale, 10 being the highest. I would recommend this book to 5th- 7th graders who are interested in the Native Americans. Good Book!
