Relax, Relate, Release!

I thank God for the words He spoke through Sis. Tasha Douglas in her book, SisterSHOUT! She has been through some evident pain, struggle, and major sacrifice on her quest to be filled and saturated by the Spirit of God. Many people always say that they want the anointing and Spirit of God to rest upon and operate through them, but when they begin to be hard-pressed by the issues of life, they cry and wonder what is happening to them. Well...the oil can't flow unless you allow yourself to be squeezed and pressed. May God bless Sis. Tasha Douglas for being very transparent about her growth in the Lord. Many times it is difficult to relate to other Christians because they wear masks, often appearing to have it all together when in actuality all hell is breaking loose in their lives. Because of her honesty, Tasha is able to effectively minister to others who may be experiencing the same challenges she faced in her marriage, motherhood, career transition, and maturity in the Lord. I highly recommend this book to all women who are not looking for a sugar-coated "Gospel, feel-good" message, but instead are in search of the truth about how to release all their heavy burdens on God's shoulders...and then leave them there. In a day when spiritual warfare is at its most intense, it is good to have a book written by woman who has been through the fire many times, but never came out smelling like smoke. As Sis. Tasha mentions in SisterSHOUT!, worship will confound the devil every time!
