An amazing and informative book!

This book was a nifty read! These young women were the grandchildren of the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence: Charles Carroll of Carrollton. In their time, they were with a veritable who's-who of the late 1700's and early and mid 1800's: Dolly Madison, the Duke of Wellington, President Jackson... the list goes on. They were the original "Dollar Princess," before that became a thing 70 years later. These women controlled their own money, whom they married, and had long and fascinating lives. This book was a terrific read for those wanting to learn more about women in history, especially in this much-talked-about time period. This is a history book, well written, and has two groups of pictures and portraits in the middle sections (instead of the usual one), which was nice. I highly recommend this book!
