Loved it...

I lived in Madrid and often went to the nearby city of Avila. I heard a lot about Sister Teresa and when I saw this book on her life I bought it immediately. It is a great read. Very, very eye opening on women of the day and how they were treated by the church. I highly, highly recommend it if you like historical fiction. A great read.

Excellent book!

My favorite book by this author! Very well researched and beautifully written. Reader should note that the book is historical fiction.

The saint was a real person

I just finished Sister Teresa and can't wait to find out more about Saint Teresa. Dr. Mujica takes historical information and combines people from history with created characters that enables the reader to really understand and feel what it was like to be in the time period of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone whether they are Catholic or not.
