Perfect for the word starved

I've had this book for the last 7 years. I have found this book to be a wonderful resource for writing term papers. Practically every word that I look up is there with an alphabetical synonym listing. This is a writer's bible. If you don't have it and you are a writer writing late at night, this book is a great companion for finding the write words to say. I wouldn't trade it in or give it away for the world.

Great companion for copy and speech writers

I first acquired this book in 1977. It has served me well in writing thousands of direct mail letters and speeches. Kinda-sorta like a Thesaurus, Sisson's often provides a different slant on words.
