Fun books--great for boys and girls

We've been reading this series to our 6-year-old son, and he just loves them. They read quickly, and they have enough "knight" talk to keep the boys interested and enough silly humor to keep my older girls laughing. My kids particularly love Daisy, the pig who speaks Pig Latin. Our only complaint might be that, in each book, McMullan has to once again "explain" the characters--why the pig speaks Pig Latin and why Eric is really Erica. I think readers would most likely start at the beginning of this series, so why explain things over and over?

Along the way Wiglaf and his pals find a new friend, lots of excitement and some laughs.I know that you will enjoy this book as much as I did. I would give the book eight to ten stars if I could.
