this book about edgar j. watson was written by a.b. matthiessen long before peter matthiessen wrote his three book's about edgar. as a south florida historian and a researcher on the life of edgar a. watson, i found this book to be a very interesting different look at the saga. the authors, husband and wife knew the area and had to of had first hand information pertaining the events. some facts are in this book that are not in peter's book...
