Across town is comedian-actor Thad with a hidden talent for writing. When the lives of these two people literally crash together, can their vehicles and their lives be repaired? If they are repaired, will it last? As Darnell and Thad attempt to work through the rubbish of the crash, they are unaware of the danger that surrounds them. Rhodes takes us on an amazing road trip with stops and detours that will have you holding your breath. The strength, weakness, and fears of the characters are real, with the secondary characters adding their own spice to the story. This story flowed from scene to scene, while keeping you wondering what next? Who is that? Who did it? Rhodes keeps you changing your opinion, and turning the pages to see if you had come to the correct conclusion. Readers will be shocked as the story draws to an end. What can i say, ms. rhodes has done it again, the characters Darnell and Thad, were a hit for me too say the least. This story line was so funny and having them fall in love with one another was great. I so loved this book and can't wait for the next one.
