Great Read

This was the greatest book I've read in quite some time. The characters come alive and keep you wondering up until the end. It is a must read

Spys, Romance, Anarchy, Political , lots of missing bodies - Very Good !

Bethany is an independant women who is working at school for girls in the area of science. She starts poking around her bestfriends father and his business associates after her friend goes missing. While at house party of she meets Ian Rockwell again - who she was in 'love' with 3 years ago. Ian works of the Crown as a spy and he currently investigating his host as possible multiple murders. A good historical murder mystery romance - Enjoy! Looking forward to the following reads; Passion and Pleasure in London , At the Bride Hunt Ball , The Trouble with Moonlight (Berkley Sensation) and A Rake's Guide to Seduction (Zebra Historical Romance).

My new favorite author!!

The first book by Melody Thomas that I had the pleasure of reading was A Match Made in Scandal, the 3rd book in the Donnally series. It was unbelievably good. I promptly went out and bought every book she's ever written. This book Sin and Scandal in England was every bit as good as her previous ones. I have read more books by more authors too numerous to count, and this author is one of the best. She literally has a way of bringing the books to life. I don't even need to read an excerpt or the back cover of her books; I will buy them simply because her name is listed as the author.

Victorian Romance

This book is written in the days of the Dukes, Duchesses and Lords and Ladies-they are very romantic and can be very sensual but not in a disgusting way-the author describes the romance between the characters so precisely that you can picture them as if you were part of the book-very capitivating!

Sin and Scandal in England

Bethany Munro had not laid eyes on Ian Rockwell, the man she was secretly in love with, for three years. Seeing him again at a ball with a countess on his arm shocks her to the core, but she does her best to carry on as normal. This is harder than Bethany expects because when his eyes meet hers across the crowded ballroom, all of the feelings Bethany felt for him three years ago that she tried to forget and suppress, come back tenfold in a matter of seconds. Escaping the throng, Bethany tries to get away but to no avail when Ian follows her. What begins as a flirtation turns into so much more. When the smoke clears, the lovers find themselves facing espionage and danger, and life as they know it, no longer exists. I love Melody Thomas and her historical novels. I know that every time I pick up one of her romances that I will be entertained, on the edge of my seat and treated to a fantastic love story. Sin and Scandal in England was that and so much more. Anyone who has ever yearned for another person can instantly relate to Bethany and her love for Ian. Ian, a dashing and bold hero, was so much more than a good-looking male lead. He was loyal and protective, and while his job kept him from Bethany for so long, his heart kept her memory warm. Talia Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed
