Real-world help for the overloaded life

I've picked up other books on simplifying your life, but they usually look terribly complicated, dealing only with the surface busyness. But Norm's book uses thought-provoking questions and exercises that really make you stop and consider your current course and your desired course, as well as practical helps to get from A to B. He breaks life down into six areas of potential clutter: pace, expectations, activities, possessions, relationships, and spiritual lives; and spends two chapters on each subject. If you know you need help in certain areas, but others are in pretty good shape, then you can use and skip chapters as necessary. The author never really says, "You should do this and stop doing this." he just asks the right questions to get you thinking about what you're doing and why, and how you might "do" life differently, all the while letting you take into consideration what works best for your personality, goals, etc. No cookie-cutter solutions here! (My only complaint: I would have liked more personal stories about the author's journey toward a simpler life. And Norm! -- you just look a little too happy on the cover!) Helpful, practical, down-to-earth. Get it, and get more out of your life.
