Karen Miller's book of activities to help children under three develop at their own pace. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is an awesome book. There are tons of activities to do with babies in it, and most of them do not require you to go out and buy expensive things. The activities in this book strenghthen baby's motor, language, cognitive, etc skills and use items you already have around your house. It's definitely worth the money.
Helping Your Baby Develop
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
This book explains the key areas of development as a child grows from infancy to two years old. Activities and games to aid in each area of development are presented for each age group. This book is helpful to parents when they run out of ideas for keeping their children busy and happy. Some of the activities, such as dancing with your child, seem obvious; however, a parent might overlook such activities. The book also presents ideas for stimulating development that had never occurred to me. Although the book makes mention of many of the toys you can purchase, it also explains how to make toys yourself and how to design activities for your child using materials commonly found in the home. Safety issues are thoroughly addressed.
