Silly Sara spills and slips and trips! Sara is sick of being silly, so she decides to become Super Sara in this beginning phonics reader that promotes word recognition through rhyme.
I think this book should be rated a step 1.5 -- it is too easy to be a step 2. On the other hand, reading a book easily and well builds confidence in children, and this book is fun and enjoyable. Not a bad choice, but not very challenging at level 2.
Not my favorite but my daughter really likes it!

My 21 month old really likes this book. She has it memorized so helps Mama read it by saying key phrases when I pause! The Phonics set up is unfamiliar to me, so a little strange to read.
Cute book and fun to read

My 6 year loves to read this book. It has fun and easy phonics for him to pick up. My 2 year old loves for me to read this book to him over and over again because of the pictures and simple story. My daughter used to read the book when she was 5 and she still loves to read it today 3 years later. It is a great step into reading for all children.
