Fun to Read and Reread

This charming, fun book is underappreciated. Lots of points of entry for discussion with parents or grandparents, a look at idiomatic language, but mostly, a whole lotta fun--and, not plot-oriented, so it holds up to the many readings it will surely get.

Had us belly laughing!

This book kept our early reader hooked and wanting to keep reading! The book consists of six different stories about an older farm couple, Sadie and Samuel, who keep doing such silly things that their neighbor Hazel is always left scratching her head. We only ask our son to read one story to us at a time, but as he finished one of these he always wanted to go on to see how silly the next one would be, too! Both of us would be left laughing out loud!
