Get The Edge and Make More Money

In Shut Up and Make More Money, Bill Radin provides a well needed reminder to remember the service side of the industry and get paid for remembering it. He provides simple ways to get the edge while maintaining and increasing both professionalism and revenue. Although technically, some of his ways are outdated, a good recruiter will find great resources within this book's pages. Because it's technically outdated, I wouldn't recommend this book for a brand new recruiter. I would, however, recommend it if you'd like to find a myriad of ways to get the immediate edge on your unwitting competition.

Good advice in an easy format

This is a real good book to have in your library as you get going in a recruiting career. I liked the way it gives the reader credit for intelligence but carefully explains inside techniques. A fine job.Wayne D. Ford, Ph.D., author of "Breakthrough Technical Recruiting" docwifford@msn.com

Good marketing ideas....

Good marketing concepts and some really great ideas. More in depth in terms of marketing than "Billing Power". If you are purchasing Bill Radin for the first time, get "Billing Power" first however, it will assist a beginner more. He does reverse his 'no resume' stance in this book from his "Billing Power". His writing style is quick, easy reading, and no nonsense. Organization of the book makes it an easy reference. Again, disappointingly, the book does not cover sourcing candidates. If you have read "Billing Power" you will see some of the same concepts and ideas in this book. Good read and worth the money, although I feel both books are over priced. Mr. Radin writes in terms of things you can do, not motivation, which is a plus.
