High quality but a little dated

I am a longtime subscriber to BH & G Wood magazine, so its no surprise that I appreciate the high quality plans contained in this book. The 25 projects are broken into four sections: Shelves, Stands and Frames; Occasional Tables; Accessories; and Racks. Everything you need to know to build these projects is clearly explained and well illustrated. The only drawback for me as a woodworker is that several of these projects have a distictly dated feel to them, such as the Contemporary Coffee Table or the Waterfall End Table. These have the look and feel of contemporary furniture from the late 1970s / early 1980s. There are, however, enough "classic" designs in this book that will not go out of style. Overall this is a high quality book that is still worth the asking price.
