Krista V. Oakes is a certified yoga and meditation teacher (E-RYT) specializing in working with beginners and seniors. She teaches gentle and chair yoga classes and retreats in person in the Daytona Beach and also online to anyone with an internet connection. Her classes focus on safety, proper body alignment, mindfulness, and trusting oneself. Her approach to teaching integrates the Kripalu Yoga style of teaching compassion, mindfulness of meditation, blended with spirituality and lifestyle coaching with humor sprinkled throughout Krista received her BA in English from Muhlenberg College which is where she first discovered the thrill of expressing herself through writing.
