A Must Read

I think this book should be required reading for every woman. It deals with so many important issues. Issues which a lot of people are afraid to touch with a ten foot pole. I very much appreciate the honesty and transparency of the authors in this book. I have struggled with so many of the same issues. The advice in this book is practical and most of all, biblical. This book is very convicting and will give you a lot to think about. The chapters that were most challenging for me personally were the ones on feminity and purity. I think women of all ages would benefit from reading this book.

Awesome! Every Woman Should Read This!

This was an awesome book. It goes into detail of three important factors every woman should have in life. She should be Safe, Healthy, and Empowered. The safety part of the book goes into detail about how as women we search for protection, security, intamacy and femininity as it should be. We all know that we long to be held in a safe and secure place in our lives. And we can have that safe and security with Jesus Christ. Rebecca and Linda goes into discussion of the things that we can do in our lives to become safe. Once we feel that we have come to a peace of being safe we need to face our intmacy issues. First of all we need to be intmate with God and spend more time with him. Rebecca and Linda illustrates great ideas in ways that we can achieve this. The healthy part of the book goes into detail about how beauty is more than skin deep. There is a quiz in this section to see how you view yourself and to give you pointers to assist you to raise your self-esteem. This chapter also reveals about purity and emotional healing. I feel that this was the most helpful chapter to me. I have been struggling with the question can God forgive me for making past mistakes. Rebecca and Linda answered my question in this chapter. God is a loving and forgiving God. He has forgiven us of our sins no matter how big or small they are. Because all sin is just sin in his eyes no matter how big or small. This book has touched my heart and I know that it can touch yours too. I highly recommend this book to other young ladies and of course I feel that every woman should read this book. It will help you to answer many questions you have for yourself when seeking God's help in living a Godly life as the woman he has created you to be. The empowerment section of this book was excellent. It helps you to see the steps of becoming the woman that God has created us to be. This section is dealing with the spiritual needs for women. We need help along the way to fulfilling our purpose. It starts out with explaining what a mentor really means and how much we need mentors at an early age in life. Because one day we will become a mentor for someone else if we aren't already. It also goes into discussion of building boundaries as christians so that the enmy can not just walk-in when he feels like it. This book is a very awesome and wonderfully written book. I know that I will read this book over and over. Maybe one day I can hand it down to my daughter, so that she can see the woman that God created her to be. Rebecca and Linda use scripture through out the book and refers to stories of women in the Bible. How God used the women in the Bible to become SHE's as he wants us to be. I highly recommend this book. This book touched my heart in more ways than I can describe and I know that God will use it to work in your life as well. May God Bless You and Walk with You along your way of becoming the SHE he created you to be.

Publisher's Weekly Review is Unfortunate...

Publisher's Weekly Review is a bit unfortunate, and a little harsh on the book. Rebecca St James remains one of the top role models for young women these days, and her book, SHE, continues to set forth a good blueprint by which young women can attain the utmost for God's highest in all areas of their lives. Highly Recommend!
