Shamanchild

This is a book about the transformational process. The title, "Shamanchild" refers to the innate potential we share as humans to be highly sensitive, intuitive, and to experience the world as shamans and mystics do. Historically,in our culture, children who are gifted with this heightened ability of perception are seldom validated, often ridiculed, and may carry their wounds into adulthood. For many years, Lynne Gordon-Mundel has conducted groups, workshops and retreats which help these "shamanchildren" to reclaim their true Being-ness. Just as our psychological/spiritual reality is embodied in the physical realm, so does Gordon-Mundel embody her wisdom and conceptual thought in the realm of real experiences of people she has worked with, as well as her own life experience. Her writing is at once simple and clear and filled with profound insight. Both as participant and as facilitator, I have experienced many groups such as the ones Gordon-Mundel conducts. I consider "Shamanchild" to be valuable reading for anyone who is, or wants to be, on a spiritual path. Her writing is solid and true, and helps to clarify and validate our collective awakening into higher consciousness.

Lynne Gordon-Mundel is a thinker at the forefront of human intellectual evolution, who is able to formulate her experiences of Life in the context of relationships, therapeutic or otherwise, in heart-warming poetic prose.
