Going home was bittersweet. The short time in another country brought new possibilities and a totally unexpected love entered reality. Among friendly faces and on easy territory options had to be weighed and important decisions had to be made. Not only for her; also for the only family she knew to be her sister.

The familiar rhythm of work brought back a form of calm into an existence that, for a while, was littered with questions. What triggered the vivid dreams at the Drosdt stronghold and why did it have such an alarming affect on her? What bonded two people together for so long in one country and how was it possible that such a seemingly strong bond could be dissolved so easily in another? Was theirs ever a real union?

The sight of an all too familiar face threatened the new-found peace. Was it real, or just a remnant of the dreams and turmoil experienced on foreign soil? Will she ever be rid of the nagging apprehension that nowadays seemed ever present?

All too soon did knowledge dawn that the threat of a recent past followed her home, to step forward in unfathomable malicious fashion when least expected.
