I absolutely LOVED Shadowland. It was engaging, totally unpredictable, creative and a non-stop, heart-pounding page-turner. I couldn't stop reading. Every dialog and line were exquisite. It had a great blend of humor and wonderful sense of accuracy. In fact, the detail and research were mind-boggling, which added to its greatness. It was simply incredible. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series.

Shadowland

Quick pace and contemporary world events made this story interesting to me. Steve Williams gives just enough detail to fill in the blanks without over doing it. I enjoyed this story and look forward to further stories by Steve Williams.

Enthralling, and long overdue

Steve William"s clear story telling has produced a highly readable account of what may have occurred. The "nameless stars" seem to come alive and it certainly reads like there may be many elements of truth hidden in the fiction. A must read story that allows a rare opportunity to glimpse those people who place the quest for our security above all other worthy endeavors.

Exciting and plausible

A good solid read with interesting characters and a reality based plot. With a little research, many of the plot elements can be loosely tied to actual events. Putting these events together, one has to wonder if this book is more truth than fiction and if the news as we get it is more fiction than truth. If it is true, it's nice to know that these people are out there working for us even if we don't know it. Shadowland starts off with a gripping hostage rescue and doesn't let up through the end. I found it to be one of those books that's easy to pick up and not put down until you're done.
