give yourself a gift

Too many women of color have never been told that they're beautiful. We live in world where beauty is presented as blonde and bone pinching thin. Parry Brown's book will inspire you to love yourself AS YOU ARE not for what somebody--a friend, a lover or society says you should be. It's an important lesson. So buy this book for your daughter, for your mom or give it to yourself as the perfect pick-me-up. I loved it. Kimberley Wilson, author of 11 Things Mama Should Have Told You About Men

Read it over and over again!!!

Parry Brown has written THE best self-help book for ALL women, not just women of color. She simply just "puts the hay down where the horses can get at it"! Never have I come across a book so easily written so any and everyone could understand it without having to acquire a degree first! Any woman can relate to the self-esteem issues and the process to work through them. From the "mirror exercises", through the self-nurturing, to the birth of a diva! We all need to learn to love ourselves before we can share our love with someone else. Parry's book shows you how to achieve that self love and if it takes reading it over and over again......JUST DO IT!!!! Thank you God for stepping into the life of Ebony Satin, so she could in turn bless us by stepping into ours with "Sexy Doesn't Have A Dress Size"!

A MUST READ

EVERY woman should buy this book! Learn the Lessons Parry outline in each chapter, then give the book to a man. As with most things in life, women have allowed men to set the standard for beauty (clothes, shoes, hair, makeup, even our size). There are no standards for men, none. Parry shows us not only how but also why we must set our own standards. When I step in a room, I turn almost every head irrespective of gender or race. That's what every woman can do. Parry teaches us how to exhibit our beauty inside out, not outside in. Parry "EbonySatin" Brown should tour internationally. God has given her the greatness to empower every woman and enlighten every man.

AMEN! Finally someone brave enough to tell the TRUTH

I had the pleasure of meeting this dynamic sister in New Orleans and believe me she practices what she preaches. She is confident and radiant. I bought the book just because of that.I read the whole book on the airplane trip home and told the woman sitting next to me she needed to go and get a copy AND then tell all of her friends to do the same! This book is awesome. It is one that you will read at least one hundred times. But be warned, Ms. Brown ask some tough questions! I haven't been able to answer them all yet because I am coming face to face with some real issues in my life! This book is better than EXCELLENT! It is a must have for every woman's library. I am just sorry I didn't get the CD!

Awesome!

This book snaps, crackles and pops with positive images for all women! Finally, there's a book that tells the truth - that no matter what size you are, you are a desirable, beautiful woman. I love the fact that the author went beyond dress size to address self-esteem concerns. This should be a MUST READ for everyone, including young girls to get them started on a positive note. Great job, Parry!
