Amazon Purchase - Sewing Projects in an Afternoon

The book is in very good shape just as described. Either I missed the detail that it is paperback or it was not listed. I was expecting a hard cover book. I am looking forward to completing some projects soon. Many are very useful and many will make nice gifts.

Some Good Ideas

I picked this book up by chance at the library and was pleasantly surprised by some of the easy, pretty ideas in this book. Instructions for a duvet cover, a bias bound blanket, curtains, basket liners, hanging shoe bag, jewel bag, cinch backpack, lots of attractive and practical projects... I have so many favorites. The instructions are very brief, but most of these projects are so simple, I'm just looking at them as a starting point. Lots of good ideas for gifts in here, and I like the author's fabric suggestions.

Fresh, Stylish Projects

Of all of the quick project/gift ideas books I own, I like this one the best. It is more sewing than craft (my complaint about some of these types of books) and has great, fresh, stylish looking projects. Also, there are projects for beginner to advanced level sewers so the book can grow with your skill level. The book is beautiful to look at and the author selects great fabrics so that the finished projects don't look like something from the local craft show.
