One baby book with everything you need

I have made so many of the fingertip towel bibs, and everyone loves them. The few who got the baby slings loved them too. I can't seem to get past the easiest projects, but this is a complete collection of baby gear to start on when the test is positive (and the rabbit is still warm!) I will never be without a great baby shower gift again, thanks to this book.

really great ideas, some for more experienced sewers

I really like this book, it is nice to find patterns for things like slings and snugli's. However, some of the projects are definitly for more experienced sewers, though plenty for novices. The patterns are a mess, and some of the patterns don't seem to be well planned but I am going to recommend the book anyway. Either way, it is fun to have a pattern for a portable high chair. Where else are you going to find that?

Interesting Ideas, But....

I found Sew and Go Baby to have wonderful ideas. The problem is that the projects are not so simple for a beginner, or someone new to zippers and gromets, etc. The patterns are included (which is a nice idea!) but the pattern pages have no rhyme or reason--so to search for one you may end up unfolding all the pages. And re-folding pattern pages is a pain! The book did have cute shower ideas, and some easy projects such as fleece booties and hats and a neck pillow I made for my 8-month old. I think it will take quite a bit of practice and material to make a go at some of the more difficult projects in this book

Great book!

I got this book when my son was five months old and wish I had gotten it earlier! However, there are plenty of items for any size baby. Just today we used the highchair and play quilt. The play quilt will be used for MANY years (probably by me after baby is grown up! ). The clothes patterns look great - I've not tried any, but plan to make most of his summer t-shirt/shorts from the patterns. For any sewing mom, relative or friend, this book is a must have!
