Excellent introduction to semiconductor circuit design

I've seen some criticisms of Dr. Malvino's writing style, and frankly, I'm mystified by those critics. This is a fine text. The only caveat is that you must have a good working knowledge of DC electrical principles before starting with this text. There are aspects of transistor behavior that had been missing from my education of the subject for many years, but this text filled in all of the gaps and did so in a very, very clear manner. The book is extremely easy to read and is very approachable. It covers semiconductor physics and circuits in a manner that is much more clear than Horowitz and Hill. Great book.
