I was told by a friend that this was a powerful book. Although I am now retired as an office worker first in a city hall, and then at a hospital after I relocated downstate; I recall so many situations, that would have been made easier if I'd had the opportunity to read this book. It is hard to put down, and so full of excellent thoughts and methods of making things work out for the best, even though at times you feel you are risking everything. This is an inspiring guide for anyone in business or out. I highly recommend it for anyone who desires personal improvement .
This book is reference material for me.

Every day we feel the tug to stray from the principles George Kengott intelligently lays out for the reader. I too read the book in one sitting, but I keep it on my night stand and continually refer to it to keep me centered in both business and life.
It cleaverly demonstrates the power of true personal selling

Using a story to provide a real-life context, this book effectively communicates the keys to long-term sales success. Overcomming the daily challenges a salesperson faces is more that just sales skills and hard work, it is about how you relate with yourself and others. This book takes you through the process of understanding the principals of truly satisfying sales success, not just money or survival. You'll find yourself saying "Oh no" when the salesperson "slips" and cheering him on when he gets it right. If you are in sales and you feel something is missing, this is where you will find it!
A must read for those engaged in selling, which is all of us

This book is an inspiring story about the journey each and everyone of takes in regard to selling or simply interacting with others on a daily basis. The author does a remarable job of keeping you interested and excited while we learn some very important spiritual concepts of life. I didn't want to put the book down. There are many classics on the subject, but for an up to date 90's message this book is a must read. I think everybody should read this book, it makes a fantastic gift or training resource for sales and non-sales professionals. If you want your customers, treated fairly and honestly give this book to all of your employees (like I did), the message is timely and right-on!
