A rabbi and a financial advisor walk into a bar. Actually, it was a Mexican restaurant. And so begins, See the Beetle. We first meet financial advisor, Marty Kaplan, who's having a business lunch with his old fraternity brother and client, Rabbi JD Aron. While Marty pleads with Rabbi JD to rein in his personal spending, JD's only interested in downing tasty margaritas, planning a huge community fundraiser using his own money, and tracking down the beautiful mystery woman he spotted from the pulpit at last Friday night's services. From there, things go from bad to worse for Marty. He's hit with a barrage of unexpected challenges, just when he's trying to prove he's worthy of leading the money management firm founded by his father. A plunging stock market, distressing requests from Rabbi JD and other clients, marital strife, a defiant son, and a surprise inspection by the SEC, all push Marty to his emotional limits. Does he have what it takes to successfully steer the ship or will he self-destruct and sink the family business, taking everyone down with him?
