Fabulous fiction set in Washington DC

The daily give and take, back door deals and vote for my legislation and I'll vote for yours of politics is perfectly depicted. Glynn Wright is in her early forties and is an eleven year veteran of Capital Hill who took her husbands Republican seat when died suddenly. In addition to the machinations of her fellow congressmen she is battling breast cancer and the suicide attempt of her young son. Thirty-nine year old Psychiatrist Charlotte Blue has been in her current practice six years and briefly treats Glynn's son before admitting him to a treatment center. What transpires is a deep and lovely friendship full of caring that develops into so much more until Glynn's life becomes a headline. This is a fast paced novel that kept me reading from the first chapter eagerly wanting to know where the story would take me. Laugh out loud moments tickle you and keep you on your toes. If you like this novel don't miss the author's other titles - Worth Every Step Without Warning & Aftershock Mulligan The House on Sandstone

All Is Not Always As It Seems

Bias alert - I am a HUGE fan of KG MacGregor. Although I try to be fair in my reviews, my adoration of the author sometimes colors my remarks. That said... here we go. Imagine waking up one day to find yourself being arrested for a crime you didn't commit. That's exactly what happened to Glynn Wright. Of course, this was merely the icing on Glynn's proverbial cake of disaster. In the weeks before her arrest, her son had tried to commit suicide and was sent to a rehab center. He was initially seen by psychiatrist Charlotte Blue who recommended his treatment. Little did Charlotte or Glynn know it would turn out to be a disaster... for both Glynn's career and her son. I don't want to give away too much here. The book is a little more mature and developed than most in this genre (i.e., beware - there is some deep thinking required to fully embrace the story). I love both protagonists, but do think the psychiatry could have been more insightful. ` Bottom Line - It's a MacGregor book, so it's a given that I'd love it. For everyone else, it is certainly a thought-provoking book with some great plot twists and several colorful characters. Try it. I'm sure you'll like it.

One Brilliant Book!

Lambda Award winning author, KG MacGregor's latest entry is a MUST READ! I was completely engrossed in SECRETS SO DEEP from beginning to end. It was realistic, well plotted, thoroughly researched, and had intriguing surprises at various turns. Thanks KG - I appreciate the effort very much!

A Great Read.

KG has done it again. Although it is a little different than what she has previously written it is still done very well. Like all of her other books Great character development. Once I started reading it I could not put it down. This book was not what I had expected but I was very pleasantly surprised. I fell in love with all three of the main characters, Charlotte, Glynn and Sebby. Sebby is struggling with the past that is buried so deep he would rather die than see it for what it truly is, while Charlotte and Glynn struggle with their attraction to each other which neither one can deny is there. There are some twists and turns along the way, but I don't want to give anything else away. This is a very good book. KG comes through again.

Another winner from KG MacGregor!

As with all of KG MacGregor's books, Secrets So Deep is extremely well written. Right from the start it captivated me and kept me so involved that before I knew it, I had stayed up most of the night to get to the end and solve the mystery. The romance of Glynn and Charlotte is perfectly balanced against the mystery of Sebby's memories. If you've liked any of KG MacGregor's previous books, you'll love this one.
