A very good photographic introduction to the wide variety of trees

This short collection of photos of major families of trees is an excellent introduction to one of the most important crops humans raise. When most people consider the two words "crop" and "trees" together, they think of fruit trees. However, a wide variety of the items consumed by humans literally do grow on trees. They also are one the greatest reservoirs of bound carbon and a wide variety of products such as turpentine, paper; packing material and even sap for pancake syrup are all made by trees. They are truly a life saving resource, a major producer of oxygen and are some of the prettiest items found in nature. It is a book that everyone should read especially in the current circumstances where global warming is a real threat.
