Barbar Orsini, the last one to leave home and live on her own, works as a receptionist at a neighborhood counseling center, and discovers new meaning in her life. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read SECRET WORDS a long time ago and something just reminded me of it, so I thought I'd express how much I enjoyed this novel. It was told in the slightly-uneducated voice of the main character, which made it gripping, real, and intimate. As she slowly finds love and opens herself up to the world, we enjoy seeing that world through her eyes. Richly and skillfully told. It wasn't overly long and reads smoothly. Well worth a look.
