An excellent pick for any general-interest library

Plenty of books have been written on the history of selected secret societies - but this offers far more depth and detail than most, surveying not just Western but global secret societies, from the Middle East to Hollywood, and examining their connections to positions of powers. Some societies are just cult groups while others wield real social power: SECRET SOCIETIES delves into differences, examines histories and rituals, and includes such groups as the Mafia, the Priory of Sion, and others.
