The Scribblers is a Writers' Group which meets weekly in the New Berlin, N.Y. Library. "Seasons of Our Lives" is a reflection of their varied life journeys. The members represent several decades, being in their twenties through eighties, which has resulted in different types of manuscripts. One Scribbler writes memoirs of childhood days, another offers romantic poetry from her teens as well as fiction penned in her eighties. One relates her colorful travel experiences besides some poetry and others refer in their work to true events in their lives which are subtly rendered. Several have spun completely fictional episodes and more verse, both categories compelling. The subjects and writing styles are as diverse and interesting as the authors themselves.
