I picked this book up, looking for some interesting cultural recipes and traditions. Boy, did I find both in this book. The recipes are authentic and varied and from all over! The interesting thing about this cookbook are the little founts of information available. How certain cultures celebrate, how Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza are celebrated in different places.....My family and I have really enjoyed this book. I'm picking up some copies to give as Christmas presents this year.
